…of those trails we need to ride before we die. Whether it is posted in huge letters on the wall or it lives in our daydreams, we need to keep our list alive. Send me yours. Once it’s in writing, it’s more likely to happen!
Marty’s Dream Rides:
1. The Chilcotin Mountains, British Columbia.
2. Italy. Alps, Dolomites, you name it, I wanna ride it.
3. West Virginia. Roots and mud galore.
4. Downieville, California. (Nope, not that truck stop on I-70.)
5. Oregon. Send me suggestions!
6. Maah Daah Hey Trail in North Dakota.
7. Hermosa Creek in Durango. (This one seems likely…yay!)
8. New Zealand. I don’t know what’s there yet, but it’s gotta be good.
9. Ride the whole Colorado Trail. Anyone done this? Fill me in.
10. Telluride to Moab hut to hut. Bueller??
(And this is just the tip of the iceberg! I better find that fountain of youth.)

As for Oregon, Ride the McKenzie River Trail. Incredible Forest trail.

Marty- I’ll be ripping Durango to Moab hut to hut which is the partial #10 on your list next week. I will have plenty of photos and stories when I return for your amusement.
